Gennine Jackson-Francis, a phenomenal vocal talent and entertainer from Los Angeles, gives the incredible gift of experiencing Whitney all over again.

Rarely do we get a chance to do a double take of one of the most influential entertainers in music history.   Rarely do we ever have a second chance to reconnect with an artist in a way that is so similar to the original that it almost feels “otherwordly.”

Few performers have earned the titles of “Legend,” “Icon,” and “The Voice.”  Whitney Houston was all three, and is still regarded as one of the all time greatest performers. Guinness World Records cited her as the one of the most awarded female act of all time. Her powerful voice was unmatched and it took us to a place we had never been before.  The impact she made on the world, her seamless and soaring vocals, and all of the songs we recognize every word to, have been at the very center of our musical experience.

Since the age of eight Gennine and her sisters have been performing and entertaining in prestigious venues like the Forum, the Hollywood Palladium, the Ahmanson Theatre and many more.  They made multiple media and television appearances in shows like Soul Train, 90 Tonight and A Couple of Dons starring Don Rickles.  They caught the eyes and ears of world class celebrities like Bill Cosby, Eddie Kendricks, Smoky Robinson & The Miracles, Three Dog Night, The Pointer Sister, The Whispers, The Manhattans, Sister Sledge, The Silvers and more.  The Jackson Sisters released two R&B single recordings, “Why Can’t We Be More Then Friends”, and “I Believe in Miracles”, which received international acclaim in Europe and Japan.

In a heartwarming musical tribute, Gennine is performing a spectacular concert titled “The Essence of Whitney,” for the Coachella Valley.  Gennine not only sings and sounds like Whitney, but also looks stunningly similar to her, as she is reminded of daily. Though the similarities between the two women are almost uncanny, Gennine makes it clear that she is only celebrating and honoring the legend Whitney Houston, and not trying to impersonate her, as no one could ever replicate the original diva.  This tribute performance will be a highlight for fans of both Gennine and Whitney, and will make its way across the U.S. and Canada.  Gennine’s, “The Essence of Whitney,” will remind us just how much Whitney Houston will remain one of pop music’s best artists of all-time.
